The 96th General Session & Exhibition of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR), in conjunction with the IADR Pan European Regional Congress, took place at ExCeL London from 25-28 July 2018 and saw over 5,000 dental, oral and craniofacial researchers flock to the capital.
The IADR is a non-profit organization with nearly 11,000 members worldwide. Its mission is to advance research and increase knowledge for the improvement of oral health worldwide, support and represent the oral health research community and facilitate the communication and application of research findings.
IADR is the latest medical association to select London and ExCeL as a host venue. Other recent successes have included record-breaking events for both the European Association of Urology (March 2017) and the Alzheimer’s Association (July 2017). London has secured its reputation as one of the world-leading centres for Life Sciences with the city being at the heart of the so called ‘Golden Triangle’ of medical research, which links the Capital’s leading research institutions, with Oxford and Cambridge.
