For the first time in its history, the annual Globes Israel Business Conference, the leading economic event in Israel was hosted in Jerusalem at the Jerusalem International Convention Center, Israel’s largest conference centre on January 10-11.
The two-day conference is attended by more than 4,000 delegates, including businessmen and women, government officials, leading economists and delegations from Israel and abroad. Each year, it brings together Israel’s leaders, key world economic players, scholars, decision-makers, top executives, and diplomats, as well as promising young innovators and entrepreneurs.
This year’s conference, titled “It’s Complicated: Don’t expect to come and hear one truth, but to hear ideas that will challenge you”, discussed the information revolution on our lives and the ways in which technology and “digitalization” is reshaping the economic, business, social and cultural environment. The conference hosted hundreds of international speakers in multiple sessions and workshops, and addressed economic and social issues of the day, such as social issues and their impact on economics, Bitcoin fever, long-term planning for Israel, business regulation and responsibility.
