Business Events Canada (BEC) and their partners are set to return to Europe next month for their annual roadshows designed to promote the country’s meetings offerings to local planners.
The first event will be held in London at 5.30 pm on Tuesday 17th September at Canada House and the second event will be held in Brussels at 6.00 pm on Wednesday 18th September at Les Ateliers des Tanneurs. With Canada holding a solid first place in global ICT, the functions will also put a spotlight on technologies; one of the seven economic sectors at the heart of Business Events Canada’s strategy. Ryan Holowaty, COO of Noodlecake Studios, the renowned indie game publisher and developers of the world-famous Super Stickman Golf series will join the events as keynote speaker.
Chantal Sturk-Nadeau, Executive Director of Business Events Canada, commented: ““The European Annual Canada Week is a unique platform for networking. It allows us to make those key connections between our European markets and Canada’s diverse destinations, unique experiences and industry thought-leaders, helping these local event planners to get inspired and create meaningful and engaging events. It is also an exceptional space for our Canadian partners to meet with new prospective and qualified buyers and to showcase their destination or product in order to generate new opportunities and confirmed business.”
