Matthew D’Uva has served as the Chief Executive Officer for the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) since July 2015. IASP is the world’s leading professional organization devoted to pain research and clinical practice, IASP brings together scientists, clinicians, health care providers and policymakers to stimulate and support the study of pain and translate that knowledge into improved pain relief worldwide. Matthew holds an MBA from the University of Maryland and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Tufts University. Matthew is a Fellow of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and has previously served as a member of the Board of Directors of both ASAE and the ASAE Foundation.
