Intelligent Transportation to Travel to Hamburg

Hamburg will host the 2021 World Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) from 11 to 15 October 2021. The event will take place at CCH – Congress Center Hamburg in collaboration with Germany’s Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure. The halls of the Hamburg Messe exhibition grounds as well as selected streets in Hamburg’s urban area will also serve as a venue for the event.

The bid for the congress, which was titled “Cos it’s Hamburg – City of Solutions”, was submitted in Brussels last March, supported by more than 100 stakeholders from industry, research and associations across Germany and Europe. The announcement of the win was made in Canada during the last ITS Congress.

Held every three years in alternating locations in Europe, with interim events hosted in the Americas and Asia, the congress is expected to attract more than 10,000 international trade visitors. The agenda includes a trade fair, live demonstrations, and discussions about the latest developments in the field of intelligent transport systems and services.
