Düsseldorf Convention has recently presented its new website for marketing Düsseldorf to the meetings industry. Even faster than before associations will now be able to see all factors that advocate staging an event in the powerful meeting and convention location of Düsseldorf on www.duesseldorf-convention.de. “Düsseldorf Convention is a one-stop shop for all-in solutions whether it’s choosing a venue, finding hotels or putting together a social programme,” says Düsseldorf Convention Director Christian Ortlepp.
As soon as they click on the homepage, visitors to the new website will be immediately presented with the best reasons for choosing Düsseldorf, for example the city’s excellent meetings infrastructure. The new website is naturally available in two languages – German and English – and it is optimised for mobile end devices. The Meeting Guide serves as an innovative planning tool with which the user can generate offers by specifying just a few details about a planned event making research easier for interested associations.
The new website is one visible result of the partner programme that was successfully initiated last year and which has already seen almost 90 partners signing up. These most notably include the founding member, Düsseldorf Congress, as well as Messe Düsseldorf, D.Live and the state capital’s major conference hotels. “Our aim is to truly consolidate the strength of Düsseldorf’s industry players for the first time so that we can have an even greater impact in the market. The partner programme allows us to do just that. One of the things we give our partners is the Düsseldorf Convention quality checkmark which confirms their quality and expertise. We also provide them with extensive marketing support and help them optimise their own offering,” says Ortlepp.
