PCMA to Disclose
New Plans and Ideas

New PCMA President and CEO Sherrif Karamat will discuss his vision for the organisation and the business events industry, including engagement in Europe, at IMEX in Frankfurt

He will talk about Ascent, PCMA’s new initiative to promote an inclusive business culture aimed at educating and empowering business events strategists globally, inviting fellow CEOs to join him in signing the Ascent CEO Promise, a commitment to creating and maintaining truly inclusive workplaces. On Monday 14 May, he will moderate a panel discussion entitled Women in the meetings industry – on eye level with men?  looking at the critical issues facing women in the meetings industry.

As part of IMEX Business School, PCMA will organise two educational sessions looking at how companies, particularly in Europe, have successfully challenged and disrupted their own strategies to change their business models. This falls within the framework of PCMA’s growing outreach in Europe. In fact, its second European Influencers Summit will be held in Seville on 23-25 September inviting CEOs and other senior professionals from across Europe to an interactive programme centred on embracing disruption and unconventional thinking in the digital age.
