Russia Makes its First Appearance at IMEX in Frankfurt

For the first time Russia will be represented at IMEX in Frankfurt, taking place between 14-17 May, with a collective stand RUSSIA OPEN TO THE WORLD, organised by the Russian Convention Bureau. Established in November 2017 with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Russian Convention Bureau (National Convention Bureau Association) is actively promoting Russia as a favourable place to hold events of any scale and attract international meetings.

At the exposition RUSSIA OPEN TO THE WORLD, Russia will be represented by the key players of the Russian event industry market. These include representatives of national and regional companies in the meeting industry, congress bureaux, hotel networks, resorts, congress and exhibition centres, PCO and DMC from Moscow, Saint Petersburg, republics of Tatarstan and Bashkortostan, Krasnodar Territory, Sverdlovsk and Kaliningrad regions.

Several presentations are planned at the stand, one of which will be devoted to the World exhibition EXPO2025 in Ekaterinburg. During the work of the exposition, special attention will be paid to the forthcoming the FIFA World Cup 2018 to be held in Russia for the first time.
