15th October 2021

Fully vaccinated travellers against COVID-19 will be able to depart Denmark, France, Italy, the Netherlands, UK, USA, Canada and Spain – in addition to Germany – to enter Singapore with a Vaccinated Travel Pass (VTP) as of 19 October on.

The travel pass will allow visitors entry into Singapore without the requirement to undergo the usual 10-day quarantine. Requests to obtain the Vaccinated Travel Pass (VTP) must be made between 7 and 30 calendar days prior to travellers’ intended date of entry into Singapore and applications can be made via the SafeTravel website.

Carrie Kwik, Executive Director Europe at Singapore Tourism Board commented: “Following months of resilience, preparation, and innovation, we are ready for visitors to experience a reimagined Singapore with new hotels, sightseeing tours and attractions which we hope will inspire travel desire in repeat and first-time visitors to Singapore. With over 32,000 establishments in Singapore certified SG Clean, providing assurance of the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, visitors can also experience Singapore safely and with peace of mind.”
