Tallinn Breaks Its Record with Major JCI Congress

The Estonian capital, Tallinn, will be the host for Junior Chamber International (JCI) 2019 World Congress. The selection of the venue was announced on November 8 at the 2017 event in Amsterdam. The 2018 congress will take place in Goa, India.

With 5.000 participants expected, this will be the biggest congress ever held in the country. Set to take place during the last week of October or the first week of November, the five-day event will include over 190 hours of training sessions, seminars, workshops and keynote speeches, organised both in the capital and in other Estonian cities and regions.

The major congress is expected to boost the local meetings industry, and will have an impact on the relatively small host city.
