UKES Conference to Energise Newcastle

Newcastle, in the north of the UK, will welcome for the first time the 4th UK Energy Storage Research Conference (UKES) from 20 – 22 March 2018 at the new Urban Sciences Building at Newcastle’s Science Central development.

Organised by Newcastle University, 200 energy storage industry professionals from around the world, ranging from PhD students and early career researchers through to senior researchers in industry, academia, research institutes and government are expected to attend the conference. They will engage with internationally leading experts covering areas of research, application, policy and commercial deployment, to help shape the future landscape of energy storage.

UKES is an annual conference hosted by The Energy Storage Research Network (ESRN), the Energy SUPERSTORE and the STFC Network in Battery Science and Technology, all funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC).
