Association Focus is set to take place on Monday 30 May, the day before IMEX in Frankfurt, held 31 May – 2 June. The exclusive day of networking and learning for association professionals at all levels represents a valuable opportunity for the community to reunite, debate challenges and update their skillset.
The topical program of Association Focus has been shaped in response to the current business climate and is divided into two streams, designed for association leaders and association events professionals. Association events re-imagined – association events in a hybrid world is a panel discussion with Noureddine M’ghari, Congress and Events Manager at the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) and Agnes Maignien, Events & Promotions Manager at ICCA. Moderated by Melissa Cole, Managing Partner at Say Something Communications Inc, they will discuss audience engagement, multi-hub conferences and how to combine live and virtual components effectively.
Recognizing the repercussions of the pandemic on workplaces, wellbeing and beyond, The association workplace of the future: A world reshaped by COVID is a panel discussion led by Michelle Mason, President & CEO of ASAE examining remote working, wellness, and economic impacts for associations. Jeanne Sheehy, CMO of Bostrom Corporation, and Liesbeth Switten, Secretary General at the Association of Issuing Bodies & ESAE Board member, join the debate.
Education partners ASAE, AMCI and ICCA, along with supporting partners ESAE and AC Forum, have all collaborated with IMEX to create Association Focus. Sponsored by Tel Aviv and Global Association Hubs, Association Focus takes place Monday 30 May at the Sheraton Frankfurt Airport Hotel & Conference Center and ends with an Association Social where attendees can catch up with industry friends and celebrate the start of IMEX in Frankfurt.
