The 2025 edition of the Associations Forum National Conference, held from 30 April to 1 May at CENTREPIECE in Melbourne Olympic Park, welcomed over 570 senior leaders from the Asia-Pacific association and not-for-profit sectors, marking a new attendance record for the post-Covid era.
Organised by Associations Forum, Australia’s leading network for association professionals, the event reaffirmed its status as the largest association-focused gathering in the Southern Hemisphere.
The packed agenda combined strategic insights, practical workshops, and vibrant networking sessions, with parallel programming across governance, membership, events and advocacy.
The sold-out exhibition showcased more than 50 suppliers, while pre-conference events at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre and the gala “Re-Imagine” dinner at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground showcased the city’s world-class business events infrastructure.
“Melbourne offers a diversity of venues and unmatched support,” said John Peacock AM, CEO of Associations Forum. “We’re thrilled by the energy and collaboration demonstrated by our attendees and partners.”
