Dubai‘s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that the 30th edition of the Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) World Congress will take place from 16 to 20 September 2024 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The event is expected to draw 20,000 participants and feature 800 speakers across 200 sessions, focusing on the latest advancements in smart mobility and transportation technology.
This marks the first time the Congress will be hosted outside of Europe, North America, Australia, and East Asia, highlighting Dubai’s growing influence in intelligent transportation.
The Congress will explore key themes such as sustainable mobility, smart city integration, autonomous vehicles, and data-driven decision-making, with sessions covering topics like automated transport, 5G and cybersecurity, and clean mobility innovations.
Hosting the ITS World Congress emphasises Dubai’s role as a global leader in smart transportation, providing a platform for global thought leaders to exchange insights and forge strategic partnerships.
In addition to the sessions, the event will feature an exhibition showcasing cutting-edge technologies, technical visits, and real-life demonstrations, offering participants a unique opportunity to explore the latest trends and shape the future of urban mobility.
