Sydney will host the world-renowned EduTECH Congress and Expo for the next three years, from 2025-2027.
The event will attract over 10,000 academics, training providers, and innovators to the International Convention Centre Sydney on 12-13 June 2025.
The congress will feature more than 350 speakers and hundreds of exhibitions showcasing cutting-edge technologies in education, such as artificial intelligence, augmented reality, robotics, and 3D printing.
It will underscore NSW’s status as a premier EdTech destination, promoting local businesses to global investors.
Minister for Industry and Trade Anoulack Chanthivong expressed enthusiasm for Sydney hosting the event where it originated in 2011, highlighting the state’s vibrant EdTech sector with 273 companies.
BESydney CEO Lyn Lewis-Smith said: “The need to skill, reskill and upskill our future workforce is crucial if we are to be at the forefront of transitioning our nation’s economy. Sydney, as a digital innovation leader in the education sector, is the perfect location to showcase our state’s brightest minds and achievements in the field, attract more students to our excellent institutions, and to grow local and APAC collaboration opportunities.”
