European Association Summit 2023 to Explore Future of Association Professionals in the Green & Blue Revolutions

The European Association Summit (EAS) 2023 is set to take place on 27 and 28 April 2023 at Sparks Meeting Venue in Brussels, Belgium. The theme for this year's summit is "Green and Blue Revolutions and the Future of Association Professionals".

Now in its 11th edition, the summit aims to bring together association professionals from diverse fields and sizes to explore the potential of younger members, mentorship programs, upskilling, and reskilling in the current landscape. This year’s summit is themed “Green and Blue Revolutions and the Future of Association Professionals” and will provide a timely platform for discussing professionalization in the associative world, as part of the EU Year of Skills 2023 and the conclusion of the EU Year of Youth 2022 in May 2023.

The EAS’ focus is on the power of diversity and inclusivity in associations, providing attendees with insights on practical strategies for leveraging inclusive and diverse associations. It will feature thought leaders and disruptors from various sectors sharing visionary views and insights on emerging technologies and trends, with a future-focused objective of inspiring attendees with innovative ideas and perspectives.

The event will include sessions covering a range of topics, including skilling up for the future, maximising revenue diversification, trailblazing advocacy, breaking barriers with inclusion, mastering the virtual world, empowering sustainability practices, AI and automation, engaging associations’ community for greater impact, and future-proofing associations.

Panellists include Martin Sirk, International Advisor at GAHP, Jeroen van Liempd- Director Engagement, Associations & Communities at MCI Group, Kai Troll, President at Association World, Angela Guillemet, Executive Director & Association Expert at INCON, Giulia Meschino, Director – Secretary General at EVTA, Remi Deve, Editor in Chief at Boardroom, and Adrian Harris, President at FAIB, among others. The summit will also feature two thought-provoking keynote speeches by international authors Isabel Le Clercq and Jo Caudron, as well as case studies from Ernst and Young, Conferli, EUDONET, and GlueUP.
