Geneva has been confirmed as the host city for the SLAS Europe Conference and Exhibition in 2028, 2030 and 2032, a multi-edition commitment that strengthens the city’s profile at the crossroads of life sciences and laboratory technology.
All three editions will be staged at Palexpo, Geneva’s largest exhibition and conference venue, located next to the airport.
The decision marks Switzerland’s first time hosting SLAS Europe and reflects the destination’s concentration of international scientific and pharma organisations, biotech companies, universities and research institutes.
SLAS CEO Vicki Loise underlined Geneva’s convening power for a global community working on automation and screening, noting: “With Geneva being a home to so many global scientific and pharma organisations… it is a natural convening point for our European conference that connects science, technology, and people.”
Founded in 2010, SLAS is a global, non-profit professional community bringing together scientists, engineers, researchers and business leaders across life sciences and technology, with conferences and education designed to accelerate collaboration and application.
The first Geneva edition is already listed by SLAS for 16–18 May 2028.
