The 10th Congress of the European Academy of Neurology (EAN) will take place in Helsinki from June 29 to July 2, 2024.
In preparation, EAN, the Finnish Neurological Society, and Neurocenter Finland have launched the Brain Health School Challenge Project to foster brain health awareness among young people.
This innovative initiative encourages students across different age categories to create campaigns that motivate their peers to prioritise brain health. Winners of this year’s challenge were announced at Helsinki City Hall on May 14th.
The Brain Health School Challenge is part of the Brain Health Mission, aiming to promote brain health through creativity. Students are invited to develop projects using posters, videos, songs, texts, comics, or dances.
Participants, divided into three age groups, create campaigns to inspire brain health. Projects are judged on originality, feasibility, collaboration, and impact, with select entries displayed on the official Brain Health Mission website for public voting.
