IBTM World has announced its 2024 Association Leaders Forum, created in partnership with the European Society of Association Executives (ESAE) and sponsored by the Amsterdam Convention Bureau.
The forum will focus on the key challenges faced by Associations today, such as integrating AI into strategic planning, making events more impactful and sustainable, and addressing team burnout. It will also explore how Associations can navigate geopolitical shifts and prepare for significant electoral changes.
The event, part of IBTM World’s theme “People.Power.Potential,” will feature industry leaders like Martin Boyle, CEO of IAPCO, and Liesbeth Switten, ESAE Vice-President. The forum aims to provide actionable insights and foster innovation in the association sector.
Claudia Hall, IBTM World Exhibition Director, said: “At IBTM World, we strive above all else to always provide genuine value, and tangible take-homes, for delegates. This year’s Forum does just that, supporting association professionals to build an association sector that is not only at the forefront of advancement, but which prospers because of it.”
Approximately 130 Association professionals are expected to attend the forum, which will include panel discussions, debates, and networking opportunities.
