Guadalajara, in Mexico, is set to debut the launch of ITB Americas, a new B2B tourism trade show dedicated to the American continent, from 10 to 12 November 2026.
The announcement was made during ITB Berlin, where a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed with the Mexican ambassador in Berlin and representatives from the State of Jalisco.
Positioned as the only trade show covering North, Central, and South America, as well as the Caribbean, ITB Americas will span multiple segments of the travel industry, including business travel, MICE, travel technology, and responsible tourism.
The exhibitor profile is expected to be 80% from the Americas and 20% international, welcoming both startups and global market leaders.
Guadalajara was chosen as the host city due to its strategic location, strong economy, and state-of-the-art tourism infrastructure.
The ITB Americas Conference will run alongside the trade show, featuring high-profile industry speakers and dedicated networking sessions designed to drive business and foster international collaborations.
“ITB Americas is a key platform for fostering connections, driving innovation, and showcasing the best of the Americas to the world. Jalisco is the soul of Mexico, the land of mariachi, tequila, and rich traditions, making it the perfect setting for this global gathering. We look forward to welcoming industry leaders and sharing Jalisco’s rich heritage, dynamic tourism offerings, and warm hospitality with the global travel community,“ says Pablo Lemus, Governor of Jalisco.
