A Versatile Venue
Singapore EXPO is the country’s largest convention centre, offering a range of versatile spaces. It has been a mainstay of Asia’s meetings industry for a quarter of a century, and the venue continues to provide innovative solutions to event organisers across the world.
Offering over 100,000 square metres of pillar-free, indoor space spread over the venue’s “Halls Without Walls”, Singapore EXPO can be tailored to fit a range of different events – from conferences and exhibitions to concerts and festivals – allowing event hosts to get creative with their planning.
Forward-thinking approaches are apparent in the way the venue handles its culinary operations too. Chef Richmond Lim, Chief Culinary Officer, helms the venue’s Kinetic Kitchen and, with the help of his team, delivers both conference-scale food & beverage (F&B), as well as providing contemporary fine dining experiences. These culinary experts use “numeric cooking” – aligning their cooking to numbers – across their operations, and data has allowed them to be specific in their techniques and process, ensuring strict adherence to food safety.
Event organisers will also find a comprehensive suite of state-of-the art technologies at their disposal. For example, one of the centre’s ten halls, Arena @ EXPO, features plug-and-play “concert of the future” capabilities. Designed to meet the growing demand for mid-sized concerts, the hall is equipped with a high-end AV system and event customisation capabilities that can also be deployed for an array of uses, beyond concerts, by visiting associations.
Asia’s Most Sustainable MICE Venue, Powered by Renewable Energy
Singapore EXPO’s consideration of the future goes beyond keeping abreast of the latest technological developments. Sustainability is a core concern of the venue, and the team integrates green initiatives holistically across their operations.
When it comes to the culinary arena, Singapore EXPO champions sustainable dining in four ways: shortening the supply chain by cultivating its own herbs on-site, working with suppliers who advocate for sustainable farming, minimising waste by reducing the use of single-use plastics and ensuring that food disposal is carried out responsibly.
About Singapore EXPO
Home to some of the greatest leading events in the world, Singapore EXPO is the country’s largest purpose-built meetings, incentives, conventions, and exhibitions (MICE) venue. We are your playground of possibilities, where ideas collide, business leaders unite and connections flow. With interconnected event spaces spanning 10 halls and 32 meeting rooms across 123,000 sqm, indoors to outdoors, our versatile venue is ready for events of any proportions.
As a trusted venue partner with over twenty years of exhibition and event experience, Singapore EXPO challenges the norm and pioneers ground-breaking solutions that elevate your event experience to greater heights.
Singapore EXPO is also presently home to the country’s largest single-site solar rooftop – estimated to be the size of eight football fields – which is used, in part, to power its EV charging stations. With 20 of these in use, the venue has become the largest EV charging hub in Eastern Singapore. Thanks to the responsible management of their operations, it has been able to cut its energy consumption in half and reduce greenhouse emissions by 30%.
A “Playground of Possibilities”
Alongside celebrating its 25th anniversary, Singapore EXPO will be launching its new brand identity: “Playground of Possibilities”.
Aligning with the venue’s versatility and forward-thinking operations, this new identity draws inspiration from the concept of a “Magic Canvas”, positioning the venue as a blank canvas on which event organisers can push the boundaries of event management and creativity.
By challenging the norm, the ambition of the Singapore EXPO is to drive forward a new era of events that break down walls of conformity and enlivens attendees at events of all sizes – be it a summit, exhibition or festival.
And this has already started. The venue offers ancillary services which push the limits of typical expectations. “Festivalisation-as-a-service” harnesses expertise and resources to assist event organisers with the curation of bespoke activities and the deliverance of all facets of a modern festival – including, one-of-a-kind F&B areas, branded activations and more.
The team at FHA-FnB, Asia’s leading F&B event, recently took advantage of this offering and partnered with the team at Singapore EXPO to stage a “Peranakan Courtyard” festival experience. This pop-up, which served as an alternative networking space beyond the halls, spotlighted Peranakan cuisine – a culinary tradition that combines Chinese, Malay, Javanese and a variety of other influences – through light bites and a specially brewed “Gula Melaka Gateway Nitro” beer.
This is just a glimpse at the possibilities that are achievable in Singapore EXPO’s vast and versatile spaces. So, if you’re looking for a fresh take on your association’s event, consider contacting the team at Singapore EXPO.

Case Study: International Team of Implantology (ITI) World Symposium 2024
In May 2024, the Singapore EXPO hosted the International Team of Implantology (ITI) World Symposium.
This flagship event took place across some of the venue’s various halls and meeting rooms, and attracted thousands of delegates from the global dentistry industry for a three-day summit.
Taking advantage of the venue’s pillarless spaces, the event organisers provided delegates with a seamless experience – hosting the main symposium in Apex @ EXPO and the exhibition showcase in an adjoining, interconnected hall.
The venue’s versatile halls recently provided the organising team with a host of possibilities in bringing their event to life. Taking advantage of the venue’s philosophy of “Our Canvas is Your Playground”, the team at ITI World Symposium were able to create a mini-Gardens by the Bay area for delegate networking – a homage to the city’s famed nature park adjacent to its Marina Reservoir.
Local touches were added throughout the event, including the installation of round canvases hung from the ceiling which depicted Singapore’s iconic landscapes, blue carpeting that resembled the Singapore River, and dining areas which replicated a signature “Satay by the Bay” experience.
A space was also formed to facilitate the gathering and networking of attendees outside exhibition hours. Featuring unconventional seating arrangements like yoga balls, and amenities such as karaoke pods, this vibrant area provided a further extension to this dynamic event.
“The ITI World Symposium 2024 at Singapore EXPO was a resounding success, with 6,000 attendees seamlessly accommodated. The venue perfectly supported our extensive architectural setup, creating an impressive atmosphere for all. The sales and project management teams were incredibly helpful and demonstrated a commendable support and problem-solving mindset. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!” said Sven Pfeiffer, Marketing & Event Manager, ITI Foundation.
