The European Stroke Organisation (ESO) has chosen Basel, Switzerland, as the host city for its 10th annual conference from May 15 to 17, 2024.
The event, known for advancing cerebrovascular disease research and patient care, will gather over 4,000 experts from 100 countries, making it one of Basel’s largest medical conferences.
Basel’s selection is no surprise, given its prominence in life sciences and medicine research. In fact, the city houses an ESO-certified Stroke Center.
ESO also selected this city because the Messe and Congress Center Basel provides the perfect facilities for seamlessly integrating an exhibition space exceeding 8,000 square meters with numerous breakout sessions, panel discussions, and lectures.
The Swiss Stroke Society’s dedication to advancing stroke diagnosis and treatment contributed to securing this prestigious conference in Switzerland.
The 2024 ESO Conference will unite global experts, fostering collaboration to improve stroke care worldwide. Basel is poised to shine on the international stage as it commemorates a decade of progress in cerebrovascular disease research.
