8,200 Experts Shaping the Future of Nuclear Medicine in Barcelona

9th October 2025

The Barcelona International Convention Centre (CCIB), managed by Fira de Barcelona, will host EANM’25, the 38th Annual Congress of the European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM), from 4–8 October 2025.

This year’s edition coincides with the association’s 40th anniversary and will bring together more than 8,200 professionals, including clinicians, researchers, academics, and industry experts.

“EANM’25 will showcase the scientific excellence and transformative potential of nuclear medicine — a field redefining early diagnosis and personalised therapies,” said Congress organisers.

The congress will feature over 200 sessions, covering the latest advances in theranostics, neuroimaging, nuclear cardiology, and the role of artificial intelligence in healthcare. A 5,000 m² exhibition will host more than 180 companies presenting new technologies and innovations.

In line with its mission to support future talent, EANM’25 will once again welcome young professionals through initiatives such as the Young Professionals Lounge, and by offering free accommodation and registration to 150 participants under 38. The second edition of EANM Science Day will also invite high school and university students to discover the world of nuclear medicine.

EANM’25 marks the start of a busy final quarter at the CCIB, which will host more than 20 major events before the year’s end, including the World Stroke Congress, the SEPA Annual Meeting, the Gartner IT Symposium/XPO, and the International Congress on Archives (ICA).
