The Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) has appointed Tan Mei Phing as Acting Chief Executive Officer, effective 20 August 2024.
With over 12 years of experience at MyCEB, Tan brings extensive knowledge of the business events industry and a proven track record in leadership.
In her new role, she will oversee the strategic direction, financial planning, and operations of MyCEB, aiming to enhance Malaysia’s status as a top destination for international conferences and events.
Tan has led key divisions such as Event Facilitation, Sales, Marketing & Branding, and Industry Development, playing a crucial role in elevating Malaysia’s profile in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sector.
Tan’s career began in an international Destination Management Company and as a Professional Conference Organiser, where she gained valuable expertise in event management and international bidding.
Her appointment reflects MyCEB’s commitment to advancing Malaysia’s global competitiveness and delivering long-term value to stakeholders.
