Around 400 dental professionals and researchers will gather in Antwerp for Digital Dentistry Unlocked, the Digital Dentistry Society’s State of the Art Conference, on 16 and 17 October 2026.
Hosted at the Hilton Antwerp Old Town, the meeting will examine how emerging technologies are moving from experimental tools into everyday clinical care. Its programme covers AI-assisted imaging, digital orthodontics and endodontics, clinical 3D printing and bioprinting, with speakers addressing both their potential and practical limitations.
The Digital Dentistry Society represents more than 1,000 active members across 70 countries. Its Antwerp conference will connect clinicians and researchers around evidence, techniques and the responsible application of new digital workflows.
The choice of destination reflects a wider connection between the programme and Antwerp’s health and innovation communities. Researchers at the University of Antwerp, for example, use 3D design and printing to develop equipment for clinical and research applications.
Veerle Peeters, Sales Director at Antwerp Convention Bureau, said: “The conference is asking how new technology can improve care in the real world, a question that resonates across our city’s health and digital communities.”
Pre-conference workshops and society meetings begin on 15 October, followed by a reception at Antwerp City Hall. A gala dinner at Grand Café Horta will add one of the city’s distinctive Art Nouveau settings to the delegate experience.
