Leadership in associations is evolving, but how well are those at the helm being supported, recognised, and rewarded? To find out, ESAE and Mavence have launched the 2024 ESAE–Mavence Association Leadership Survey, designed specifically for association professionals in leadership roles across Europe.
Now in its second edition, the survey examines how associations structure their leadership, what compensation and benefits are offered, how career paths are shaped, and what leadership skills are currently in demand.
This year, it also brings an enhanced focus on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, recognising the growing need to reflect the diversity of the communities associations serve.
Participation is entirely anonymous, and completing the questionnaire takes no more than ten minutes. The results will offer an evidence-based overview of what leadership looks like today across different roles, organisation types, and countries, providing useful benchmarks for professionals and boards alike.
