A new post-pandemic era is starting at the Darwin Convention Centre with the IFCO2022 International Foster Care Conference scheduled for 23-25 September.
The 600 delegates that are expected to attend will be travelling from overseas and interstate and will play a significant role in the venue’s recovery efforts.
Peter Savoff, General Manager Darwin Convention Centre believes the venue will begin to see a rise in international conferences choosing Darwin as a host destination with its business development team having already experienced an increase of enquiries since Australia’s borders opened back in February.
In fact, the Center announced successful bids for World Aquaculture and World Community Development Conference in 2023, with 3 more international conferences having been secured in recent months.
Associations interested in holding their conference in Darwin are encouraged to apply for the NT Business Events support fund.
