This autumn, Brussels will become the stage for the launch of the first global CPD-certified Practitioner Level Event Mental Wellbeing Training, setting a new benchmark for professional development in the meetings industry.
Developed for event professionals, facilitators, and teams, the two-day in-person course goes beyond awareness by offering a practical, practitioner-level certification.
Participants will leave equipped with concrete tools to safeguard their own wellbeing, support colleagues, and design events where accessibility, inclusion, and energy renewal are part of the delivery rather than afterthoughts.
The curriculum introduces the PACE and CALM frameworks — streamlined, evidence-based approaches that allow event planners to integrate mental health awareness seamlessly, without added costs or logistical burdens.
As a prelude to the Brussels sessions, Johanna Roodt from Event Mental Wellbeing will present a free ESAE webinar on “Mental Wellbeing & Burnout Prevention for Association Event Teams” on Friday, 12 September (details here).
This online event will provide an accessible entry point for association executives eager to implement small yet impactful changes ahead of the in-person training.
