ImpactAIQ Moves Event Measurement Beyond Headcounts

2nd November 2026

A new AI-powered platform aims to help associations, destinations and event organisations demonstrate what their meetings actually change and not just how many people attended.

ImpactAIQ was officially launched at IMEX America following more than two years of collaboration between #MEET4IMPACT and event technology company GEVME. It brings impact planning, evidence collection, analysis and reporting into a single system.

The platform responds to a persistent challenge for association events: traditional measures such as attendance, satisfaction and economic return describe activity but rarely show who benefited, what changed or why continued investment is justified.

ImpactAIQ structures the process around three stages:

  1. Plan: define intended outcomes and stakeholder priorities before the event.
  2. Measure: bring surveys, engagement data, interviews and partner feedback into one evidence framework.
  3. Communicate: produce reports showing change over time and apply the findings to future events.

The system can examine outcomes including knowledge transfer, new professional relationships, innovation, policy influence, environmental change and destination value. For associations, this could provide stronger evidence of what member dues, participation and partnerships help achieve.

Geneviève Leclerc, Co-Founder and CEO of #MEET4IMPACT, said: “GEVME has helped us turn an ambitious idea into a scalable product, bringing the technology, product, design, and commercialization expertise needed to build ImpactAIQ for the global events industry.”

IMEX and Tourisme Montréal have contributed as innovation partners, testing how the platform can support both individual events and wider destination strategies.
