New Leadership Team to Steer the World PCO Alliance Forward

A new chapter begins for the World PCO Alliance as the organisation elects a fresh leadership team committed to enhancing collaboration and innovation across the global meetings industry.

During the Annual General Meeting on 19 June 2025, members appointed Sumate Sudasna of CDM Thailand as President, Caroline Knies of Meetagain AB (Sweden) as Vice President, and Jean-Paul de Lavison of JPdL International (Canada) as Treasurer.

“I am honoured to assume the role of President of the World PCO Alliance,” said Sumate Sudasna, highlighting his goal to “support our members and strengthen the industry by creating new opportunities for meetings worldwide.”

Vice President Caroline Knies underscored the Alliance’s shared vision: “Sustainability, collaboration, and building lasting partnerships are at the heart of what we do. I look forward to extending those values to our global initiatives.”

Immediate Past President André Vietor reflected on his tenure: “It has been an honour to lead the Alliance, and I look forward to supporting the new officers as they guide our community into the future.”

Established in 2009, the World PCO Alliance brings together 19 leading PCOs worldwide, fostering knowledge exchange and promoting excellence in international congress management.
