Last week, Brussels hosted the much-anticipated event, “POLAND. More than you expected,” organised by the Poland Convention Bureau and the Polish Tourism Organisation Office in Brussels. This event brought together international association professionals and event planners, offering them an in-depth look at Poland’s vibrant meetings destinations.
Participants spent a half-day engaged in enriching workshops that were designed to showcase the hidden gems and expansive opportunities available in Poland for meeting and event planning. The event facilitated valuable interactions with key representatives from important institutions such as the Poland Convention Bureau, Warsaw Convention Bureau, and Krakow Convention Bureau, along with trusted business partners including Mazurkas Congress Management and Poznań Congress Center PCO.
These workshops and meetings not only offered insights into professional growth opportunities but also highlighted potential collaborations for attendees’ next major events. A notable aspect of the Polish industry’s support structure is its robust network of 14 regional and municipal convention bureaus, all committed to providing comprehensive assistance.
Additionally, the endorsement of seven convention bureaus and various incentive travel companies and professional congress organizers by the Poland Convention Bureau for 2023–2024 underscored their commitment to delivering quality services.
Organised by Cocoa Events, the gathering was more than just a business affair; it also offered a pleasant mix of professionalism and engaging content, with just enough fun to keep the atmosphere lively throughout the day.
