QSNCC Sets a Sustainability First for Thailand’s Meetings Sector

4th July 2025

Bangkok’s Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) has unveiled Thailand’s first Real-Time Carbon Footprint Tracking Dashboard, positioning itself at the forefront of sustainable event innovation.

Developed by AltoTech Global under the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau’s (TCEB) Winnovation programme, the platform will debut this July during Asia Sustainable Energy Week 2025 and the International Engineering Expo 2025.

The dashboard offers live emissions tracking across energy usage, food waste, packaging, and travel—empowering organisers and participants alike to make informed, immediate decisions.

“From ISO 14064-1 compliance to real-time data, our sustainability journey is built on measurable impact,” said Mr Surapol Utintu, CEO of QSNCC. “We hope these events will become benchmarks for others aiming to raise their environmental standards.”

TCEB’s Executive Advisor and CIO, Mrs Jaruwan Suwannasat, added: “This collaboration is a strategic step forward. Real-time tracking equips our industry with credible, actionable data—exactly what global organisers are seeking.”

Event partners have also welcomed the initiative. Mr Sanchai Noombunnam of Informa Markets Thailand commented: “This tool aligns perfectly with our net zero ambitions. It’s not just data—it’s a roadmap to genuine impact.”

Looking ahead, QSNCC will offer dashboard access as a redeemable benefit within its Loyalty Programme, further incentivising sustainable planning. With this initiative, Thailand takes a bold step in aligning its meetings industry with international climate goals.
