The Switzerland Convention and Incentive Bureau (SCIB), in collaboration with the European Society of Association Executives (ESAE), is set to relaunch its annual networking event for association and corporate planners.
Scheduled for 13 October 2025 at EFTA House in Brussels, this year’s edition places artificial intelligence at the heart of the conversation, offering insights into one of the most pressing strategic shifts facing associations today.
The highlight of the evening will be the keynote by Avinash Chandarana, a veteran in workforce transformation and learning strategy. In his session titled “AI & the Future of Associations: Navigating the Transformation from Strategy to Execution,” Chandarana will offer a structured approach to implementing AI within associations—from identifying high-impact opportunities to managing change at a human level.
Set within the eco-conscious surroundings of EFTA House—home to the European Free Trade Association and other key institutions—the event will also feature a showcase of Swiss destinations and services, with a dozen Swiss partners offering insights into their latest offerings.
With institutions like ETH Zurich and EPFL at the forefront of global AI research, and a vibrant ecosystem of tech giants and start-ups, Switzerland is fast becoming one of the world’s most reliable and innovative AI hubs. Its combination of academic strength, legal predictability and policy transparency provides an ideal backdrop for any association contemplating a digital leap forward.
