Strasbourg Events, manager of the Palais des Congrès et de la Musique de Strasbourg, is highlighting the venue’s capacity to host high-level corporate and scientific events through two recent examples: the General Assembly of MEDEF Alsace and SPIE Photonics Europe.
The MEDEF Alsace General Assembly, held on 6 May, brought together nearly 150 senior business leaders and SME representatives at the Palais des Congrès, in the presence of Patrick Martin, President of MEDEF, and Franck Favre, President of MEDEF Alsace.
Katia Maillard, Déléguée Générale of MEDEF Alsace, and Franck Favre praised the venue’s support, stating: “We warmly thank the Palais des Congrès for its welcome and its turnkey support for our General Assembly, which brought together nearly 150 business leaders.” They also highlighted the value of meeting in Strasbourg, “in an emblematic venue used to hosting high-level international events and conferences.”
The campaign also points to the operational scale behind major congresses. For SPIE Photonics Europe, hundreds of professionals were mobilised across project management, installation, audiovisual services, IT, hospitality, cleaning, catering and security. The congress welcomed 2,740 international participants, 135 exhibiting companies, 60 represented countries and 494 scientific posters.
Josh Henry, Conference and Special Event Organizer, said: “From the signing of the contract through to the final invoice, the Strasbourg Events teams demonstrated exemplary professionalism.” He added that their support allowed the organising committee to focus fully on the participant experience.
