Strategic Alliance to Elevate Berlin’s Standing as a Global Meetings Hub

30th January 2026

INCON and Estrel Berlin have formalised a three-year strategic partnership aimed at strengthening Berlin’s appeal as a premier destination for international conferences.

The collaboration aligns with the development of the new Estrel Tower, which, at 176 metres, will soon become the German capital’s first skyscraper and a defining feature of its meetings infrastructure.

The partnership brings together INCON’s global community of professional conference organisers with Estrel’s expanding venue capabilities, including 30,000 m² of flexible event space and capacity for up to 15,000 delegates.

“Estrel’s ambition mirrors our own… This partnership isn’t just about visibility, it’s about shaping the future of large-scale international meetings,” said Nicky McGrane, Chair of INCON and CEO of Conference Partners International. “Over the next three years, we’ll work side-by-side to strengthen Estrel’s global position, accelerate international business opportunities and push the standard of venue–PCO collaboration to a new level.”

Heike Mahmoud, COO of Estrel Berlin, added: “Our partnership with INCON highlights the essential role of a clear two-way communication between an outstanding and flexible Congress Center and Professional Conference Organizers (PCOs).”

The partnership is set to unlock new avenues for business development through INCON’s network, which delivers over 11,000 conferences annually.

The Estrel Tower is due for completion in 2026.
