Tech That Touches Puts Event Innovation to the Human Test

20th October 2026

Technology will be judged by the experience it creates, not simply by its novelty, at Tech That Touches 2026, taking place at Corda Arena in Hasselt on 9 December.

Organised by Flanders Convention Bureau, the event will bring organisers, destinations, venues and technology providers together around digital and sustainable solutions that offer practical value to participants.

Its curated marketplace is intended to help buyers explore applications directly with suppliers, considering not only what a product can do, but how easily it can be implemented and whether it addresses a genuine event need. The focus ranges from AI, data and smarter operations to accessibility, sustainability and new ways of sharing content.

For associations, that could mean making relevant connections easier to find, reducing barriers to participation or presenting knowledge in formats better suited to different audiences. For venues and organisers, it could mean smoother operations and better information for decision-making.

Tech That Touches will run alongside ECHO 26, the fourth edition of the Belgian event industry congress organised by Event Confederation. Participants will have access to both programmes, connecting strategic discussion with technology demonstrations and practical applications.

The setting reinforces the theme. Located on Corda Campus, the newly opened Corda Arena was designed to combine physical, digital and virtual event layers, making it a live example of the technologies under discussion.

By placing usability, inclusion and human experience at the centre, Tech That Touches aims to move the industry conversation beyond acquiring more tools towards choosing technology that genuinely improves how people participate, connect and learn.
