After introducing the first version one year ago, the Copenhagen Convention Bureau has now launched the Copenhagen Sustainability Guide 2.0. The digital pre-planning tool is meant to offer conference planners data on CO2 footprint and resource consumption as well as suggestions for more sustainable choices and actions.
”For us to succeed with sustainable destination development we need to inspire and motivate local businesses, partners and clients. The Copenhagen Sustainability Guide invites organisations, associations, and planners to take real-life action and thereby contribute to local and global sustainable development through facts and impact-driven decisions,” explains Kit Lykketoft, Director of Convention at Wonderful Copenhagen.
Currently ranked 2nd on the GDS Index, Copenhagen aims to inspire more sustainable events for associations both locally and globally. The Copenhagen Legacy Lab, in combination with the Sustainability Guide will help associations contribute to transformation processes and positive impact.
