Vilnius, LithuaniaVilnius will welcome over 600 global delegates in spring 2028 as it hosts the BPW Europe 19th Regional Conference and Young BPW Symposium, a flagship event for women in business and leadership.
Organised by Business Professional Women (BPW) International, the four-day gathering will take place from 18–21 May 2028 at the Radisson Blu Hotel Lietuva.
The conference will bring together business leaders, policymakers, academics, and emerging women professionals from across Europe and beyond.
The event will generate tangible benefits for the city’s economy and elevate Lithuania’s standing as a centre for inclusive innovation and global cooperation.
The programme will explore a wide range of strategic topics, including leadership, gender equality, digital transformation, sustainable development, and youth empowerment.
Vilnius’ successful bid follows several previous attempts, reflecting a persistent and coordinated effort from local institutions, including Go Vilnius and the Women’s Business Club of the Vilnius Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts.
“We are thrilled to have won the bid after years of effort. Events like these do more than enhance the city’s international profile; they create new pathways for collaboration and contribute significantly to the city’s economic, cultural, and social growth. Securing such events is often a years-long process, and the active engagement of local partners is crucial. Without their commitment, this conference would not be possible,” said Vita Žilinskaitė, Head of the Go Vilnius Convention Bureau.
