The Athens Convention Bureau will be busy this spring as conferences are piling up in the city.
Already tomorrow the 15th Annual Congress on Controversies in Ophthalmology (COPHy 2024) will take place at the Divani Caravel Hotel. The 2-day conference will focus once again on the debates concerning controversial issues in ophthalmology.
The International Plasma Protein Congress (IPPC) is an annual event organized by the Plasma Protein Therapeutics Association (PPTA), which brings together policymakers, stakeholders, patient groups, and industry in Europe to discuss the need to increase plasma collection, regulatory and policy developments, patient health, and donor safety. This year it will take place at the Athens Marriott Hotel on 16 and 17 April.
About a month later, the 21st IEEE International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging will be held in Athens, on May 27-30, 2024. The 2024 ISBI edition will be an in-person meeting that will take place at the Megaron Athens International Conference Centre and will focus on emerging AI frontiers in biomedical imaging.
Finally, early summer, the World Conferences on Research Integrity Foundation is set to take place at the Megaron Athens International Conference Centre on 2-5 June 2024. The mission of the WCRIF is to promote research integrity through support for the ongoing organisation and development of the World Conferences on Research Integrity and all related activities.
