The Barcelona Cybersecurity Congress (BCC) will return from 13 to 15 May 2025 at Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via venue, with a renewed focus on strengthening industrial cybersecurity in the face of mounting digital threats.
Organised by Fira de Barcelona and the Agència de Ciberseguretat de Catalunya (ACC), the event will gather key players from the cybersecurity ecosystem to examine the strategic role of cyber resilience for industries.
As AI and digital tools become more pervasive, vulnerabilities in corporate systems are rising. In response, the BCC will feature an expanded ‘Hacking Village’, backed by industry leaders such as Beaware, CaixaBank Tech, Crowdstrike, EC-Council, SentinelOne, and Trend Micro.
This ethical hacking zone will host interactive workshops, capture the flag competitions, and sessions on pressing topics including Generative AI security and the role of CISOs.
The event comes with figures from Spain’s National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE), which reported 97,348 cyber incidents in 2024, a 16.6% increase from the previous year.
Held alongside the IOT Solutions World Congress, the BCC will help shape a leading global forum on AI, digital transformation, and cybersecurity, featuring 250 companies and over 100 experts from around the world.
