Wonderful Copenhagen has announced a new major win for the city. The 49th International Federation of Beekeepers’ Associations’ (Apimondia) congress will be held in Copenhagen in 2025. Bella Center is expected to attract more than 5,000 beekeepers and scientists from around the world. Danish, Norwegian and Swedish beekeeping associations all worked together to win the conference.
”We are incredibly excited that Copenhagen will be hosting Apimondia in 2025. This congress fits perfectly with the city’s strong focus on sustainability and biodiversity. For more than 10 years, we have worked intensively with the extensive Scandinavian host committee to produce a strong bid. For it to finally succeed is fantastic,” says Bettina Reventlow-Mourier, Deputy Convention Director at Wonderful Copenhagen.
