Innovate Canada, a Destination Canada business event calling attention to innovation sectors across the country, is now back in action after the pandemic. This year, from July 25-28, the event showcased St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, focusing on ocean sciences and transformative sustainable technologies and solutions for ocean restoration and marine health. The event included educational site visits to disruptive startups and established businesses like the National Research Council’s Ocean, Coastal and River Engineering Research Centre and the Marine Institute of Memorial University.

Innovate Canada will return in May 2023 across Waterloo, Ontario’s advanced manufacturing sector including automotive, aerospace, food processing, cutting-edge robotics and automation innovation, with a carbon-neutral event.
