Dijon Bourgogne Tourisme & Congrès has taken a major step forward in its business tourism strategy with the launch of its Business Tourism Commitment Charter, officially signed for the first time on 12 November 2025.
The initiative marks a new chapter in positioning Dijon as a competitive and collaborative business events destination.
Developed in close collaboration with local industry partners, the charter formalises shared commitments between the Dijon Convention Bureau and its stakeholders, focused on three pillars: hospitality and event quality, local cooperation, and sustainability.
“We fully share this vision of a collaborative and demanding business tourism sector. This charter provides a clear framework for a shared ambition: to welcome better, together,” said Sladana Zivkovic, President of Dijon Bourgogne Tourisme & Congrès.
The first to sign was Romain Méheut, General Manager of Mercure Dijon Centre Clémenceau, joined by Alexander Krips, Operations Director at Hôtels Bourgogne Qualité. More signatories are expected in the coming months as the initiative expands across the city’s business events ecosystem.
This charter builds on the momentum of the Dijon Convention Bureau, launched in 2024, which has already elevated Dijon’s profile in key sectors such as healthcare, agrifood, energy transition, and digital innovation.
