Düsseldorf to Host ICCA Future of Healthcare Meetings 2025

26th September 2025

From 1 to 3 October 2025, the ICCA Future of Healthcare Meetings (FHCM) will take place at the CCD Congress Center Düsseldorf.

Organised by the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), FHCM is recognised as one of the leading international platforms addressing the evolution of congresses in the healthcare and life sciences sector.

Düsseldorf Convention will co-host the event, reinforcing the city’s role as a major hub for healthcare meetings. “The hosting of the ICCA Future of Healthcare Meetings represents a clear commitment to our strategic focus on the healthcare sector,” said Maria Kofidou, Managing Director of Düsseldorf Congress GmbH.

ICCA CEO Dr. Senthil Gopinath added: “The Future of Healthcare Meetings is a highlight of the industry calendar. Düsseldorf, with its dynamic ecosystem and commitment to global exchange, is the perfect host city for this important dialogue.”

Programme highlights include keynote sessions with Dr. Stephan Martin and Prof. Dr. David Matusiewicz, who will explore the role of digitalisation in shaping healthcare meetings.

Interactive elements such as “Speed Dating with a Purpose” and a student-led session on “The Next Generation of Business Events Professionals” will add fresh perspectives.

The choice of Düsseldorf reflects a broader trend: an increasing number of healthcare and life sciences associations are selecting the city as a host destination, underpinned by its modern congress facilities, research institutions and compliance expertise.

Boardroom will of course be present in Düsseldorf to report on key takeaways and industry insights from FHCM 2025.
