The ECCL is strategically situated at the heart of Europe, providing a premier venue for various events. Located just 7 km from the airport and less than 3 km from Luxembourg City’s central train station, the ECCL is conveniently close to business districts, European institutions, tourist attractions, cultural sites, and several hotels (there are 785 rooms in the immediate vicinity of the venue), forming the Convention Park Luxembourg.
ECCL’s features
The ECCL features two main plenary rooms with capacities ranging from 146 to 800 people, and an amphitheater that can accommodate 646 attendees. Additionally, the center offers 11 meeting rooms for 35 to 380 people and 30 workshop rooms for 20 to 70 people, catering to diverse event requirements. Contemporary bars, like the Bar Crocodile, provide a relaxing atmosphere after a day of business meetings. The three modular foyers, ranging from 350 to 2,600 sqm, are ideal for exhibitions and can transform gala dinners into exceptional evenings.
In a world where associations need to streamline event planning and execution, the Center offers an EasyEvent Package, a comprehensive solution designed to make your life easy. This all-inclusive package provides organizers with a seamless experience, covering every aspect of event management from start to finish. It includes state-of-the-art technical equipment, customizable room setups, dedicated support staff to ensure smooth operations, as well as a variety of catering options and access to ECCL’s modern facilities.
New terrace in 2024
The significance of outdoor spaces in event venues is immense. They provide attendees with an opportunity to take a break from the indoor conference setting, bask in natural light, and appreciate scenic views. Taking this into account, the ECCL is set to expand its offerings with a new terrace for outdoor dining for up to 150 people.
Commitment to sustainability
The ECCL is committed to sustainability and green initiatives and aims to obtain an eco-responsible label in collaboration with on-site partners. This aligns with Luxembourg’s initiative as the first country in the world to offer free public transport since 2020.
Working hard to obtain the ‘Green Key’ certification, the Center has implemented numerous measures to reduce its environmental impact, including energy-efficient lighting, waste reduction programs, and the use of eco-friendly materials.
ECCL also encourages sustainable practices among its clients and partners, promoting green event planning and offering resources to help minimize the carbon footprint of events. In this regard, the venue already hosted several events boasting the ‘Green Business Event’ logo, which is assigned by the Ministry of Economy and aims to promote eco-friendly business events in Luxembourg and to develop sustainable event solutions. These efforts are part of ECCL’s broader commitment to environmental responsibility and support for Luxembourg’s green transition.
