This year, the African Society of Association Executives (AfSAE) is gathering association leaders and experts to discuss intra Africa trade of goods and services. With the focus currently firm on the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), leaders from professional societies and business/trade associations across different sectors of the economy will gather to explore their role in leading their members in trade negotiations under the AfCFTA framework.
At the end of the summit, participants are expected to identify key focus areas for associations, establish sectoral reference groups and adopt a 5-year socio-economic transformation agenda for african Associations.
