The ICCA Future Leaders Council has published its third project called Innovative Events Format.
Putting together the work they did on their first two projects, “social sustainability” and “the association of the future”, this third effort explore how new event formats will improve member experience in the future.
This paper identifies challenges and opportunities in five event areas: Congress structure; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI); Content; Networking; and Communications.
According to the study, the younger generation looks for a personal experience during an in-person event that aligns with their values, so networking rises to a whole new level.
ICCA CEO, Senthil Gopinath says: “Again, The Future Leaders Council produce work that goes way beyond the scope of their original brief, showcasing their innate ability to think and do differently. We thank them for all the work they have done, and I am delighted to say that we will continue to benefit from their shared excellence by inviting them to enrol in a unique Future Leaders Council alumni programme.”
