Students in Bahrain Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB) has launched the EWB Students Programme, a structured initiative aimed at introducing young adults to the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) sector and business events, while positioning it as a viable and impactful career choice.
Delivered across five leading schools, the programme reached almost 100 students, providing interactive lectures on the role of the events industry in economic diversification and its alignment with the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Tourism Strategy 2022–2026.
For associations, the initiative highlights how business event venues can act as educators and talent incubators, fostering early awareness of the sector’s strategic importance.
“Through this programme, we aim to bridge education and industry, while inspiring the next generation to shape Bahrain’s business events landscape,” said an EWB spokesperson.
