Glasgow to Host EAACI 2025, Europe’s Premier Allergy & Immunology Congress

19th June 2025

From 13–16 June, the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) will host the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) Congress 2025, attracting over 7,500 specialists from more than 100 countries to the UK’s most sustainable city.

As Europe’s largest and most influential gathering in the field, EAACI 2025 will spotlight the urgent link between climate change and allergic disease.

Experts will explore how environmental shifts—longer pollen seasons, rising pollution, and extreme weather—are intensifying conditions such as asthma, eczema, and food allergies, sharing solutions to improve resilience and care.

The programme also extends beyond the scientific community. A free, public-facing Clinical Allergy Village at Glasgow Science Centre will offer local residents, students, and healthcare professionals access to the latest insights and innovations in allergy prevention and treatment.

“EAACI is more than a congress—it’s a global hub for collaboration and progress in patient care,” said EAACI President Dr María Torres.

Kathleen Warden, Director of Conference Sales at the SEC, added, “Hosting EAACI reflects Glasgow’s leadership in science, health, and climate action, and our commitment to creating lasting legacies through international events.”
