After welcoming 2,000 participants using their Covid-19 rapid test pilot project, the Austria Center Vienna has announced that it will now receive a EUR 300 million financial support package for organisers from the Austrian government. This is meant to provide security for events planned in 2021 since part of a possible liability will be covered by the government.
In fact, organisers will be reimbursed for expenses that cannot be avoided if any changes or extra measures are implemented last minute. This puts the Austria Center Vienna in the advantageous position to tackle all potential challenges.
